The Palestinian Wastewater Engineers Group (PWEG) participated in the 6th International Climate Change Conference held in Essaouira, represented by Eng. Monther Hind.
During the opening panel, Eng. Monther Hind emphasized the urgent need to save every drop of water in the MENA region and to enhance actions toward recovering valuable brackish water resources. He also highlighted the importance of promoting low-tech water and wastewater treatment technologies to ensure that all communities have access to adequate water and sanitation services.
Furthermore, Eng. Monther Hind shed light on the water crisis in Palestine, which stems from the Israeli control over Palestinian water resources, underscoring the importance of sustainable and equitable water management for resilience under climate change.
