-- Southern Regional Solid Waste Management Project

PWEG representative participated at the workshop on Southern Regional Solid Waste Management Project in Nov. 20 2008 , the workshop was organized by the Japanese Cooperation "JAICA" in cooperation with Betlehem Joint Service Council for Solid Waste Management "JSCSWM", the workshop was attended by the head of directorate of Joint Service  and the representatives from UNDP and Italian Cooperation where the attendees discussed the Southern Solid Waste Management Project donated by the world bank and the solid waste equipment donated by JAICA to Betlehem JSCSWM.

-- Strategic Plan of Welfare Association (2008-2010)

PWEG representatives have participated in a workshop named introducing the strategic plan of Welfare Association on Thursday, March27^th 2007, the workshop was organized by Welfare Association in Ramallah. At the workshop partecipated many institutions from West Bank, Palestinian community living in Israel, Gaza through video conference, governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, civil societies, research and scientific institutions, women associations, refugee representatives, municipalities etc.

-- First Symposium on Wastewater Reclamation and Reuse

Two representatives of PWEG have participated in a Symposium on Wastewater Reclamation and Reuse for Water Demand Management in Palestine and Celebrating the World Water Day, 2-3 April, 2008, Birzeit University, the symposium was organized by the Institute of Environmental and Water Studies at Birzeit University in cooperation with the Palestinian Water Authority,  the International Development Research Center (IDRC), German technical Cooperation  (GTZ), and UNESCO-IHE Partnership for Water Education and Research (PoWER).

-- PWEG Joined a Workshop on Human Right to Water and Sanitation

PWEG representative was participated in workshop on the human right to water and sanitation, the workshop was organized by  Palestinian Hydrology Group (PHG) and the Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions (COHRE), the workshop was held in Ramallah on Sunday, March 16^th 2008.

-- Work shop organized by the Welfare Association and joined by PWEG

Welfare Association (WA) organized a workshop within its  Food Security program to which seven organizations within which PWEG were invited with the aim of discussing the status qua of the several projects under implementation by the seven NGOs under  the auspice of the above WA program

-- Grey water meeting

PWEG Director has joined a conference about the Assessment of the state of the art in Grey water use from 1998 to 2006 and planning future work in the sector, in the period between the 10th to the 16th of February
