Site Visits to water and sanitation related projects

 

  • Site Visit to Al Bireh Wastewater Treatment Plant: PWEG arranged and facilitated a site visit to Al Bireh Wastewater Treatment Plant with Al Bireh Municipality in Feb.2nd 2007 with JSCPD technical staff, lecture by Eng. Monther Hind was held regarding treatment plant, history of WW collection and treatment, Big efforts , project target and description, process description and links to previous lectures, detailed office and site description of wastewater treatment plant and pumping station components.

  • Dudaim Landfill: Within solid waste technical training a site visit for JSCPD technical staff has been made in April 25th, 2007 to Dudaim Landfill in Bir Sabe, the visit was arranged and facilitated by PWEG. At the beginning a lecture has been made by Dudaim Landfill Manager which explained the technical terms of land fill, components, process of construction, waste disposal, landfill management, open discussion and clarifications have been ended the lecture. Following to the lecture all participants have made a field walk in the landfill with the landfill manger who presented a detailed description for each component of landfill started with weighing solid waste trucks, transition and covering of solid waste, collection and generation of gas, solid waste separation and treatment of leach ate.
